BOOST - B.O.C.E.S. Opportunities for Self-Sufficiency Training is an employment training program for youth age 16 to 21 years of age. Trainees in the program will study:

  • G.E.D. Preparation and remediation for Math, Reading and Writing skills
  • Employment training to include portfolio development, finance and work habits, interviewing skills and resume and application skills.
  • Lifeskills training to include issues of substance abuse, communication skills, risk taking behavior, conflict resolution, decision making, stress reduction and anger management.

Trainees will receive funding from State of Wyoming Department of Workforce Services (DWS) or State of Wyoming Department of Vocational Rehabilitation. Trainees approved by DWS will receive an hourly stipend to attend class.

Class will be Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to Noon for approximately 12 weeks.

Trainees completing the course may complete their G.E.D. and take the exam for State of Wyoming Career Readiness Certificate.
