BSITYBA101:Keyboarding and Professional Development
Time: 8:00:00 AM, Department: Community Education (PPE), Location: Uinta BOCES #1 Education Center 301, Room: 301, Students will spend every other day doing basic keyboarding skills as well as professional development, which includes how to dress for interviews and work, resume writing, how to have a successful interview. Students will also do group projects and mock interviews.
BSILA101:Language Arts/Business Writing
Time: 11:00:00 AM, Department: Community Education (PPE), Location: Uinta BOCES #1 Education Center 301, Room: 301, From the relationship of fundamental grammar, sentence structure, syntax, punctuation, and spelling to basic effective business writing skills is the focus of this course. Students are introduced to composing and formatting effective business letters, memos, and reports. Active and passive sentences, direct and indirect approaches are also taught with hands-on writing activities.
