
What Is BSI?
In September 1995, The Education Center began the Business Skills Institute Program to meet the growing demand for skilled Office Professionals in Evanston and surrounding areas. The Institute is designed to provide highly trained graduates ready to enter the modern offices of business and industry.
Constant advice from the Advisory Council and follow-up of placed graduates and employers will provide feedback on the BSI’s current effectiveness. The classes offered will change to meet the needs of business and industry. The BSI Program will be current and relevant.

Office Administration Program Vocational Objective
The Office Administration Program is designed to prepare the student for an entry level position as an Office Professional, Administrative Assistant, Secretary, Word Processor, Data Entry Operator, Medical Office Assistant, or a variety of other general office positions where good personal computer and general clerical skills are required.
General administrative office positions are available in both the public and private sectors in both large and small organizations.
