United Way of Southwest Wyoming Promotes Youth Education with Grant Award to Uinta B.O.C.E.S. #1 Foundation

Evanston, Wyoming – Uinta B.O.C.E.S. #1 Foundation has received a grant award from United Way of Southwest Wyoming to help provide supportive services to youth who are in need of educational services.  Uinta B.O.C.E.S. #1 Education changes lives by educating, empowering, and enriching the individuals in our community.

Uinta B.O.C.E.S. #1 helps to build educational opportunities for individuals who wish to attain their educational goals from adult literacy through graduate degrees. The grant received from United Way of Southwest Wyoming will help achieve this goal.  When individuals are given the opportunity and provided support services, the success rate for educational goals is much higher.  Youth, in particular, flourish when a support system is available.  The funding received through United Way of Southwest Wyoming helps create that system of support.

“We would truly like to thank United Way of Southwest Wyoming for their grant award. Our programs helping youth achieve their educational goals would not be possibly without this funding.  United Way of Southwest Wyoming shows their commitment to our community and our youth by offering this opportunity,” Mike Williams, executive director of Uinta B.O.C.E.S. #1 stated.

United Way of Southwest Wyoming provides services to each community they serve. Funds raised in Uinta County benefit the community directly.
