Thankful Blessings

After celebrating the Thanksgiving holiday, we look back at what some Uinta B.O.C.E.S. #1 Education Center employees are thankful for in their own lives.

  • “I am thankful that the Lord has blessed me so generously with the perfect family, loving friends, good health, and a wonderful life!” Beckie Eskelson
  • “I know this is pretty stereotypical… but I’m thankful for my family. They are everything to me, and I wouldn’t be half the person I am today without them.” Bret McCoy
  • “I am thankful for working with such wonderful, kind, fellow employees and friends.” Carol Bourland
  • “I am thankful for:
    •  My very supportive husband, Jay
    • All my family – who make every day a joy
    • Having a great boss and wonderful co-workers
    • Getting to do a job I love every day
    • All my students – past and present – I love them all!”   Diane White
  • “Everyone that’s in my life. I am pretty lucky.” Jennifer Barrus
  • “I am thankful for – my family – (wife, 5 kids, their spouses and 10 grandkids), my job at the BOCES and living in a nice town like Evanston.” Keith Douglass
  • “I am thankful that my granddaughter who was life flighted to Salt Lake soon after her premature birth. She is thriving. Also my grandson who was recently born prematurely and is doing fine.” Mike Williams
  • “Faith, Family, Friends, and good Fortune.” Rocky Young
  • “I am thankful I still have ducks to put in a row.” Rocky Young
  • “I am thankful for my wonderful family including my two dogs, my friends, my home and my health.” Shirley Davis
  • “My family….kids, grandkids, brothers, remaining aunts and uncles, and relatives. I have a job, I love my work family where I work. I have a roof over my families head and good food to eat. I’m thankful I have the opportunity to help ohers – it keeps one from becoming selfish. Most of all, I’m thankful for a loving, forgiving, understanding Father in Heaven. Without him, I would not be the person I am.” Trudy Biorn

We all have so much to be thankful for – instead of only thinking of these once a year, we hope to remember our blessings all throughout 2014 and beyond!
