Utilizing community input, the Foundation will identify educational needs within the community which will benefit and expand the educational opportunities for residents of the Uinta County School District #1.

Uinta B.O.C.E.S. #1 Foundation, Inc. activities are exclusively related to education. Activities include meetings for coalition members for the education on community health; workshops to motivate women and men to change behavior habits concerning health and wellness; education booths with brochures and information available at community gatherings; educational presentations at different groups throughout the community, i.e. Rotary, nursing classes, County Commissioners. Materials and supplies have been provided for the B.O.O.S.T. program, along with food supplies for education on nutrition. Supplies and materials have also been provided for the Strings program, to enable students the opportunity of learning skills and strengthening their talents.

Board Members and other community volunteers participate in fund raising. Fund raising is accomplished through donations, grants and other common fund raising activities. The Board of Directors utilizes community input to identify educational needs within the community. Partial or complete funding for the chosen educational activity is provided by the Foundation. The activities are conducted in Evanston, Wyoming. One hundred percent of the Foundation’s activities are to benefit and expand educational opportunities for residents of the Uinta County School District #1.
