HUNTER'S SAFETY
Anyone born after January 1, 1966, who plans to hunt in the state of Wyoming, must have a Hunter's Safety class. Hunter's Safety is also required for anyone hunting on Teton Park Feed Ground. There must be a minimum of 10 students registered for each class.

Cost: $10.00

DRIVER’S EDUCATION
Let Uinta B.O.C.E.S. #1 Education Center help you become a more confident and competent driver. Students will receive 34.5 classroom hours, 6 hours behind the wheel, and 6 hours of observation. Driving time will be scheduled on an individual basis. The last 4.5 hours of this course (“Alive at 25”) will be presented by the Wyoming Highway Patrol, and is required as part of Driver’s Education.

Cost: $275.00

(Alive at 25 is a survival course for drivers ages 15-24, and is designed to teach young drivers to take responsibility for their own behavior. It is the only course of its kind in the nation taught exclusively by law enforcement officers. “Alive at 25” directly addresses the most common causes of crashes involving young drivers; speeding; impaired driving; lack of awareness of the consequences of risk-taking behavior; inexperience with the complexities of driving; and distractions and pressure from peers in the vehicle. At the conclusion each student will receive a certificate from Alive at 25. Some insurance companies offer additional discounts to drivers who successfully complete Alive at 25. Check with your own insurance company for more information on this. You may sign up for Alive at 25 with or without taking Driver’s Education.

Students who are court ordered for Alive at 25 MUST register online (http://aliveat25.us) and pay a $30 tuition fee with credit card.

Otherwise, there is no fee but you need to register with the Uinta County B.O.C.E.S. #1 Education Center.)

KICK START TO COMPASS
Uinta B.O.C.E.S. #1 Education Center is offering classes to help prospective Western Wyoming Community College students perpare for their Compass Tests (entrance and placement tests). The class costs $20 and includes the price of the Compass Test.

PRE-SCHOOL MUSIC: AGES 0-5 YEARS OLD

This class is for pre-school age children.  It will expose them to many elements of music such as singing, rhythm, patterns and movement.  Students will use lots of instruments, props and game-like activities.  A parent must attend.
