• Scholarships are contingent on available funding.
• All students applying for a scholarship must reside within the boundaries of the Uinta County School District #1.
• All applicants must be registered for college and have a tentative class schedule.

WESTERN WYOMING COMMUNITY COLLEGE (WWCC)
PART –TIME SCHOLARSHIPS
Eligibility:
• Student must be taking between 3-11 semester hours.
• Student must be eligible for a subsidized Stafford Loan.
• Fully Pell eligible students do not qualify.

Amount of Award: $67 per semester hour, deposited directly into student’s WWCC Financial Aid Account.
Subsequent Semesters: Student must earn a 2.5 or higher GPA during scholarship semester to be eligible to apply for this scholarship in subsequent semesters. Students must reapply each semester.
WWCC WESTERN EDGE SCHOLARSHIPS
Eligibility:
• Student must be accepted into the WWCC Evanston Outreach Western Edge Program.
• Student must be full-time student and must take the Western Edge Program core classes.
• Fully Pell eligible students do not qualify.
• Students who qualify for the Hathaway or other scholarships are not eligible for this scholarship.

WESTERN WYOMING COMMUNITY COLLEGE PRACTICAL NURSING SCHOLARSHIPS
Eligibility: Student must be accepted into the WWCC Evanston Outreach Practical Nursing Program.
Application: Applications will be mailed out to all eligible students. To be considered for this scholarship you must:

Award of Scholarships: Uinta B.O.C.E.S. #1 will award up to four scholarships in each WWCC PN group. The Uinta B.O.C.E.S. #1 will determine the criteria and eligibility for this scholarship.
Amount of Award: All tuition for the three semester program, deposited directly into student’s WWCC Financial Aid Account.
UINTA COUNTY SCHOOL DISTRICT #1 DISTRICT MASTER’S SCHOLARSHIPS
Eligibility:
• This scholarship is available to Uinta County School District #1 teachers who are recommended by school district administration who want to earn a master’s degree in math or science.
• Students must be accepted into a master’s program through either the University of Wyoming or Utah State University.

Amount of Award: $159 per semester hour up to $1000 per semester, awarded directly to student after mid-term grades are posted.
Subsequent Semesters:
• Students must apply for this scholarship each semester.
• Students must have passed previous semester’s classes with at least a B grade for each class.
UNIVERSITY OF WYOMING/ UTAH STATE UNIVERSITY SCHOLARSHIPS
Eligibility:
• This scholarship is available to University of Wyoming and Utah State University undergraduate or graduate students residing within the Uinta County School District #1 boundaries.
• Applicants must be pursuing a bachelor’s or a master’s degree and must attend at least one live class at the Education Center per semester (audio, video or an in person class).
