Uinta B.O.C.E.S. #1 Education Center is an Outreach Site for Utah State University (USU).
• A USU student can attend Interactive Broadcast Classes at the Education Center. These classes are live, two way video and audio classes that originate from various USU campuses in Utah.
• A student can take online classes. Some of the USU online classes are synchronous- (held at specific times and students must be in attendance) and other online classes are asynchronous- (students participate in the class at their own times). USU students can use the Internet at the Education Center for online classes.
• Students register and pay for classes online through the Uintah Basin Campus
• Evanston students participating in an outreach program through the USU Uintah Basin campus are usually only charged in-state (Utah) tuition. This can vary though, so check with Carol Bourland for more information.
• Uinta B.O.C.E.S. #1 Education Center does provide some scholarships for USU students attending classes in Evanston.
• Utah State University and Western Wyoming Community College have an articulation agreement. This makes it easier to transfer from one school to the other. Click here for more information about the articulation agreement.
Here are the current classes available for students in Evanston.
